U of I Extension Urban Programs
These programs include a variety of resources to help communities, businesses and schools. An information exchange network provides the latest and best information to benefit gardeners and consumers throughout the Chicago metropolitan area and in urban communities throughout Illinois. Programs such as Urban Gardeners, 4-H programs, and urban produce marketing and nutrition, contribute to the greening of our urban spaces and teach city residents how to care for their urban forests and gardens.
