Extension's Soil Conservation and Environmental Quality Programs

These programs focus on managing all natural resources in a manner that safeguards our environment for today and protects it for future generations. Extension educators statewide advise local watershed planning committees, teach children about water quality and environmental stewardship, and work with farmers to educate them about techniques to reduce soil erosion and improve water quality.
