Extension Poultry Program
Extension specialists and educators conduct educational programs about poultry production. Major programs include the Multi-State Poultry Extension Meetings, the Illinois Poultry Industry Council Annual Seminar and various applied research projects. Educational programs also exist for youth, including the 4-H Poultry Judging Contest, where youth compete to learn the proper techniques to judge poultry and eggs.
