ABCs of PCBs, The

Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant is providing fish consumption advisory information to populations that may not be reached by usual outlets. In Illinois, 476,000 people do not speak English at all or very well (according to the 2000 U.S. Census). Some rely on fish for a large portion of their diet. The Sea Grant publication, The ABCs of PCBs, contains information in four languages--English, Spanish, Polish, and Korean--to reach a number of underserved audiences concerning PCBs in fish and their connection to human health.
