Hometown Heroes - Speakers Bureau
Through this program, UIUC student-athletes speak to area youth at school assemblies. Topics include managing time, being active academically and athletically, setting goals, staying out of gangs, and remaining drug-free. The message is stay in school to succeed. Members from the group make about 30 visits each academic year.
