LINC: Learning in Community

LINC is an innovative course, which adds a new dimension to the undergraduate educational experience. It is a project-based, campus-wide course which establishes long-term partnerships between the university and not-for-profits in the community and world-at large. The not-for profits range from local to international agencies. Student teams work on projects identified and directed by these community partners. The teams are horizontally integrated across colleges, including students from ALL colleges of University of Illinois. The project teams are highly mentored with each team having an advisor who is either a faculty member, supervisor from industry, or graduate assistant.
