Public Service Activities


Community Client Workshops in Urban and Regional Planning

Workshop courses are offered each year for Illinois community clients. Local activities have included a workshop of three teams working with the City of Champaign Planning Department, the Campus Facilities Planning and Management Office and projects elsewhere in the state have assisted in comprehensive planning efforts in Cairo, Dewitt County, Pekin, Taylorville, Vandalia, Salem, Bloomington, Crawford County, Coal City, Taylorville, Rantoul, Jasper County, Chatham and Mahomet. Current workshops in affordable housing are underway in Jacksonville, Litchfield, Galesburg, Clinton, LaSalle-Peru and Carbondale.
