Crops Training Center

The Northern Illinois Agronomy Research Center in DeKalb holds training sessions for agricultural clientele to improve their competency in diagnoses of crop problems and pest identification. Considerable use is made of special plots to observe simulated problems and for identification of crop pests, such as weeds. Many of the attendees are crop scouts, fertilizer dealers, and chemical and seed company representatives.
