MAST: Materials Science and Technology Teachers Workshop
These materials' Modules were produced to educate high school students. Not only do they incorporate fundamental scientific principles of materials, but also they showcase low-cost laboratory experiments that can be performed quite easily. These modules are intended to introduce both teacher and student to the world of Materials Science and technology. There are eight modules: seven cover ceramics, metals, polymers, semiconductors, composites, concrete and energy, and one provides a brief introduction to Materials Science and technology. MAST modules an be downloaded directly from our website, and hard copies of the MAST module set may be purchased at $40/set (unlimited copying for your classroom or other activities is encouraged).
