Audiology Clinic
The Audiology Clinic at the University of Illinois is a large, well-equipped facility that provides diagnostic evaluation of hearing and hearing problems, measurement of evoked responses and otoacoustic emissions, hearing and noise conservation services and contracts, hearing aid evaluation, dispensing of assistive listening devices and hearing aids, which includes programmable and digital models, and follow up treatment. In addition, a full range of aural rehabilitation services for infants through adults are provided, including individual and group therapy, communication strategies training, and instruction in speechreading. The Audiology Clinic serves the public as well as promotes clinical research and the clinical education of graduate students preparing for careers in audiology and speech-language pathology.
