Wildlife Medical Clinic

With care provided by student volunteers working under faculty supervision and with consumables provided through donations, the Wildlife Medical Clinic provides an outlet for the public to bring injured or orphaned wildlife for treatment and, if possible, eventual release to wildlife rehabilitators or back into the wild. An educational component uses resident teaching animals in presentations to groups interested in learning about Illinois wildlife. Volunteers can be reached by calling 217-244-1195 or by calling the Small Animal Clinic at 217-333-5300 and asking for a representative of the Wildlife Medical Clinic.
