ILLINET Online Catalog for the University Library

The University Library, with more than nine million volumes, is the largest public university library in the world. As a major research library, its mission is to acquire, preserve, and provide access to the collected knowledge of the world. The Library serves the public as well as the university community and provides access to its outstanding collections and comprehensive reference services. The collections of the Library form of the bulk of the statewide library online catalog, ILLINET Online, through which users at more than 40 academic libraries throughout the state may borrow books. Information about the collections of the Library is accessible internationally via the Internet.
