Alcohol 101

This CD-ROM program makes innovative use of interactive computer technology to help combat the abuse of drinking sometimes found in campus life. The program invites users to a virtual party that incorporates the types of situations and pressures they might face at college social gatherings. In a non-judgmental style, the content encourages students who drink to maintain personal control and safety by helping them understand the consequences of harmful drinking, as well as the effect of alcohol on judgment and physiology. It also clearly indicates that not drinking is an equally valid option. Alcohol 101 can be used in private and at the pace of the student, or in group settings such as social skills workshops.
