Education Partnership

Much of the knowledge developed in Schools of Social Work has immediate applicability to child welfare practice. Often, however, there is no direct vehicle for dissemination of that knowledge. The EducationPartnership, a collaboration between the six accredited Schools of Social Work in Illinois and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, provides curriculum development, training, case consultation, administrative support and staff development throughout the State. The University of Illinois School of Social Work has taken a leadership role in the development of the statewide Partnership, and conducts training in the 50 county Central Region, spanning the State from Danville to Quincy.
