Math Teacher Link

This Web site, developed by the Math department, provides interactive short courses, classroom resources, and networking opportunities for mathematics teachers at the 9th to 12th grade levels. Currently, 15 short courses on the use of instructional technology in mathematics teaching are available to teachers for either Graduate Credit or Continuing Education credit from the U of I. These courses range from introductions to computers and the Internet, to the use of software such as Geometers Sketch Pad and Mathematica and the creation of Internet-based instructional materials using HTML and Java scripting.
