Center for Human Resource Management
The Center is a joint venture between the UIC and UIUC campuses where senior human resource executives from partner firms work in tandem with the multi-disciplinary faculty from the U of I to identify and investigate critical HR issues that affect companies, employees, and educators. The goal of the Center is to foster executive/faculty collaboration on applied research involving the effective management of human resources in the workplace. Revenues from annual partner fees are used to fund competitively-evaluated faculty research proposals. The Center holds two Partner Roundtable meetings per year, featuring faculty research presentations and executive-level corporate speakers.
