Education and Public Service in Visual Arts

The School of Art and Design provides educational and public service activities for a broad spectrum of clientele, including adults interested in the visual arts as an avocation, students at all educational levels, art museums, public and private educational institutions, professionals in the arts, medical facilities, parks and recreational programs, and private industry.

Offerings have included the internationally acclaimed Visual Arts Research (the only publication of its type, which deals with issues related to historical, psychological, and philosophical research in the visual arts); Saturday Art Classes for Children and Adults each semester; off-campus credit courses; and on-campus non-credit courses each semester.
