Conference Center at Robert Allerton Park
Situated four miles southwest of Monticello is a University Conference Center at Robert Allerton Park, which was given to the University in 1946 by Robert Allerton (1873-1964). The house was built in 1900, and was inspired by the Ham House in England. Facilities, available year-round, are ideal for meetings, seminars, and short courses. Meeting facilities accommodating up to 120 participants and bedrooms for up to 85 overnight guests are available. For reservations and conference information call: 217-762-7011 or 217-333-3287. The Main Entrance, from the south, will be closed due to bridge work until 2003. All traffic must use the North Entrance.
