Local Government Information and Education Network
This service provides a variety of educational programs, materials and services to local government officials throughout Illinois. LGIEN programs and services for county government officials include an annual series of informational updates via audio conferences, planning of annual conferences for professional associations, quarterly newsletters, fact sheets, and a series of publications on the roles and responsibilities of governmental officials. The network continues to work in areas of poverty, land use, and civic education.
