Technology Management, Office of
OTM manages all UIUC technology transfer from the research lab to the market place, as well as intellectual property issues. Experienced technology management personnel form the nucleus of the OTM. The office provides information, also available on its homepage, on current technologies available for licensing, how to get access to UIUC technology, how the OTM transfers UIUC technology, and the goals and objectives of the OTM. In addition, the OTM solicits and encourages business development based on university, local and regional technologies and provides assistance and advice to enhance the success of these new or developing enterprises. The OTM also runs seminars pertaining to intellectual property and entrepreneurship. Interested parties can register online and will be sent, electronically, new technology summaries.
