Public Service Activities
Model Rocketry Workshops
Workshops are offered in model rocketry for clubs and organizations such as the Central Illinois Aerospace Museum and the Discovery Place Childrens Museum in Champaign. The workshops help children and adults learn to build model rockets; some of the principles of flight and safety are also presented. Workshop sessions may include subjects such as construction, propulsion, guidance and control, telemetry, and payloads.
