Public Service Activities


Illinois Aerospace Institute

This one-week residential program for students entering the 9th through 12th grades offers classroom and hands-on experience in aeronautical and astronautical engineering. Areas of study include propulsion systems, theory of flight, aerodynamics, and principles of aircraft and spacecraft design. Program activities include construction of model gliders and rockets and simulator and actual flight time.
