Crop Sciences Research and Education Centers
In cooperation with the Agricultural Experiment Station, the Crop Sciences Department manages a network of six research and development centers throughout the state as a service to crop producers and the agricultural input industry. This group of centers is a system of field laboratories and classrooms accessible without charge to clientele who wish to obtain timely information on soil management and crop production practices applicable to the major soil resource areas of the state. Service is provided on a walk-in basis or during scheduled tours. The centers are also field laboratories for proof-of-concept research conducted by faculty of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences.
