Public Interest Law Foundation

The foundation is dedicated to fostering an interest in public service law careers among law students. Each year the foundation provides grants to students working for public interest employers. Students have worked for many organizations, including the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, the Legal Clinic for the Disabled, and legal aid societies in several states. Through its grants program, the foundation enables students during their summer jobs to serve the needs of the poor and encourages students to return to those jobs after graduation.
