Drug Prevention Education Programs
The Department of Human and Community Development provides statewide leadership to University of Illinois Extension programming in prevention. The Prevention Team focuses on promoting the healthy development of children and youth in challenging environments by training and collaborating with community agencies, youth-serving professionals, parents, and volunteers. Program activities include fact sheets, newsletters, curriculum development and training workshops.
