Campus and Community MSW Track

Practitioners who work in social service agencies in communities across Illinois have access to an excellent MSW program through this unique program. First offered in 1974, the program travels to two different communities each year, depending on local interest and professional need; the program has been offered in more than a dozen Illinois communities, and is regularly offered in Rockford, Peoria and Springfield. Students take the equivalent of one semester's course work in evening classes in their home communities over a year; they then come on campus to complete the degree. During more than 25 years' operation, more than 1400 social work practitioners have earned their MSW degrees as a result of this track.
