Water Survey, Illinois State

The Water Survey is the primary agency for the state concerned with water and atmospheric resources. ISWS research and service programs assess and evaluate the quantity, quality, and use of ground, surface, and atmospheric water resources. Its scientific programs are the Analytical Chemistry and Technology Unit, Atmospheric Environment Section, Ground Water Section, the National Atmospheric Deposition Program, and the Watershed Science Section.
