Farmland Assessment Computations

The College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences (ACES) provides data to the Department of Revenues Farmland Assessment Technical Advisory Board to annually assess more than 20 million acres of farmland for property tax purposes in Illinois. Two faculty members serve on the board and frequently advise elected officials on tax issues.
