Public Service Activities


Med Project--Student and Educator Workshops

This program provides interactive laboratory sessions where selected students from Chicago high schools participate in procedures and tests commonly performed in clinical microbiology laboratories. The educators participate in similar procedures and tests. In addition, discussion sessions include methods for teaching clinical sciences to high school students and techniques used in performing experiments safely.
