Rafael Cintron Ortiz Latino Cultural Center

The purposes of the center include creating a positive atmosphere at UIC for Latino students through the development of educational, cultural, and social programs that lead to a greater retention and advancement of Latino students; serving as a link between the University community and the outside Latino community by providing the community with programs and services and by bringing community concerns to the attention of the campus; and exposing all groups of the University to the cultural, scientific, and historic contributions of Latin American people.
