Public Service Activities


High School German Day Competition

The Department of German holds an annual High School German Day competition on campus, attended by about 200 students from fifteen area schools. The event is judged by representatives of the Austrian, German, and Swiss Consulates, and by a member of the Goethe Institute. Professor Weible and Professor Rott meet with area German high school teachers at this event to discuss mutual interests.
