Early Outreach: High School/College Transition Program
The Early Outreach High School/College Transition Program helps to facilitate the transition of Early Outreach twelfth graders from high school to college. The program presents a series of workshops that focus on the following areas: college selection, application and admission processes; financial aid; scholarship resources; written and oral communications skills; study skills; time, money, and stress management; alcohol and drug use and abuse;, decision making; problem solving; cultural sensitivity; male/female communication; relationships and perceptions; evolving relationships with parents; college expectations; student involvement at a college campus; student rights; and college survival skills. Parents are invited to participate in these workshops.
