Early Outreach: Borg Warner Scholarship
The Borg Warner Foundation provides Early Outreach with monies to grant four year scholarships to Saturday College students who meet the criteria established by the scholarship selection committee. Students must submit applications with letters of recommendation to the committee and undergo an interview. Among the many criteria for selection and maintenance of the scholarship, students must be admitteted to UIC, provide proof of attendance, and academic progress. They must have and maintain a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale grade point average. They submit their high school grades, grade point average, and class rank. They must make academic progress in such a fashion that they will complete their course of study in four years or they will lose the scholarship.
