Continuing Professional Development for Mathematics Teachers
This program involves mathematics courses offered each semester to further the professional growth of elementary, secondary, and community college teachers. The classes are offered after the school day and meet once per week at various sites throughout the Chicago area. Students receive graduate credit for the classes, taught by UIC faculty; some coursework may be transferred into a program for a Masters of Science in the Teachers of Mathematics.
