Cognitive Rehabilitation

Cognitive rehabilitation therapy is specialized instruction, usually using a computer, to assist recovery and remediation of diagnosed neuropsychological deficits. This program provides direct therapy to brain-injured students in Chicago Public School System, as well as adults with cognitive and emotional changes following brain injury, including concussion. Program members work closely with the traumatic brain injury team and attend each student's individual education plan meetings to coordinate cognitive rehabilitation goals.
