Urban Transportation Center
This center is an internationally recognized research center which focuses on analyzing and proposing solutions to transportation related problems. UTC's key areas of research include Intelligent Transportation Systems ITS), transit planning, and transportation land use planning. UTC is developing a comprehensive, region-wide transportation plan to connect welfare recipients to jobs in response to the 1996 welfare reform legislation.
