Health Systems Research
This organization is a unit of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. HSR serves faculty, students and community organizations throughout Illinois, but primarily in the northern portion of the state. HSR is designated as a Census affiliate and houses a large repository of demographic information, vital statistics, health and social indicators. Consultation is provided to hospitals, nursing homes, public health, United Ways, schools, government and not-for-profit agencies. As a community service, HSR will respond to information requests from citizens.
Services include survey research, community profiles, needs assessments, feasibility studies, focus groups, focus groups, key informant interviewing, program evaluation and strategic planning.
