All Learn Mathematics Project

The University of Illinois at Chicago-All Learn Mathematics project (UIC-ALM), with funding from the National Science Foundation and the Illinois State Board of Education, established partnerships with forty-four Chicago public schools.  This school-university initiative was designed to improve the teaching and learning of mathematics in grades K-8.

The project includes a comprehensive staff development program for teachers, in-school follow-up support, classroom implementation of Standards-based mathematics curricula, and development of teacher leadership within schools.
