U.S. Department of State Web, Gopher, and Listservs
The Richard J. Daley Library, through its federal depository library, provides access to and support for the Department of State Foreign Affairs Network (DOSFAN), a collaborative effort with the State Department's Bureau of Public Affairs to present a broad range of up-to-date foreign policy information on the Internet via a World Wide Web site, Gopher site, and listservs, creating an "electronic reading room." DOSFAN maintains an archive of more than 5,000 documents and serves more than 1,000,000 files to users from around the world every month.
