Earth Science Information Center for the U.S. Geological Survey
This center, housed in the Richard.J. Daley Library, collects, maintains, and disseminates earth science information in support of national requirements. This responsibility includes establishing programs to identify data available from other federal agencies that are of general use, and inform users where they may obtain the data.
