The museum is housed in two original Hull-House buildings, restored by the University in the 1960s, and is a national historic and Chicago landmark on the UIC campus. An internationally recognized symbol of historic involvement in urban research, social reform, educational innovation, social service, and humanitarian concerns, the museum annually serves thousands of visitors through its tours, exhibitions, lectures, and special events.
