Chicago Humanities Festival

UIC is a partner in the Chicago Humanities Festival, which brings an array of writers, artists, and intellectuals to the city each November to explore a central theme of the humanities. Approximately one month before the festival the Institute for the Humanities presents a symposium for schoolteachers titled "Classics in Context" in order to integrate the public programs into their curricula.
