Center for Governmental Accounting Research and Education
The mission of this UIC center is to promote and conduct research and educational programs aimed at increasing the accountability of public institutions. The center offers an annual symposium series, serves as the editorial office for Research in Governmental and Nonprofit Accounting, hosts international visitors, and conducts sponsored research in areas of faculty expertise. It also offers continuing education programs, professional seminars, and workshops.
