Midwest Latino Health Research, Training, and Policy Center for Medical Treatment Effectiveness
The center conducts research and research training on health outcomes in the Midwest Latino populations. The center's research is in maternal and child health, specifically pregnancy outcomes and chronic diseases, with emphasis placed on asthma, diabetes, and hypertension. The center also provides technical assistance and is actively involved in mentoring undergraduate- and graduate-level Latino students.
