Health Research and Policy Centers
The centers have been formed to conduct and foster the development of research on health behaviors, health promotion, disease prevention, health services/outcomes and health policy and to promote the interaction of investigators and projects in these areas. The work or the centers incorporates basic science (including methods and theory development), health behavior research, intervention development, clinical and efficacy trials, effectiveness trials, health services research, demonstration projects, dissemination research and research-to-practice and practice-to-policy translation.
