Public Service Activities


Gambling Addiction Center

The goals of this center are to develop a better understanding of the severity of compulsive gambling in Illinois and surrounding regions; to profile the demographic, psychological, and physiological risk factors of addiction; to investigate the effectiveness of various forms of treatment; to establish on-campus treatment for people with gambling problems; to work toward development of understanding and treatment of compulsive gambling; and to work with existing training and service organizations.
